Warning: some spoilers. For the first time (in forever), I went to a movie theater. The last time I did so was in 2019 to see Pokémon: Detective Pikachu. One of my favorite book series growing up was Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants, which originally ran from 1997 to 2015 with 12 installments. It focused on George Beard and Harold Hutchins, two highly imaginative and playful fourth graders in Piqua, Ohio. They accidentally turned their tyrannical principal, Mr. Benjamin Krupp, into the titular superhero from the boys' homemade comic books via hypnosis. From the third entry to the finale, Mr. Krupp had actual superpowers thanks to "Extra-Strength Super Power Juice". Captain Underpants was a massive success, having been translated into more than 20 languages with more than 80 million books sold worldwide. The DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, has been confirmed! Like the Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra expansions for Sword and Shield, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will be released in two parts. In this case, the two parts are called The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk. Continuing the custom of introducing new Pokémon mid-Generation, both parts of the DLC introduce unique Pokémon that will play pivotal roles for each story. Each expansion will also provide additional customization options. The Teal Mask takes place in a new area called Kitakami, located outside of Paldea. Naranja/Uva Academy students are chosen to take part in an annual school trip in collaboration with another school. Kitakami is place of tranquil natural expanses, filled with rice paddies and apple orchards, overlooked by a great mountain.
